Last Friday was the first time it really felt cold in Los Angeles and I wanted something easy, but comforting. So I made pizza. My boyfriend does this all the time, and Shellie recently did it with her nieces.
As much as I'd love to make my own pizza dough, my kitchen just isn't large enough to accommodate that kind of baking prep. Ready-made pizza dough from Fresh & Easy makes it so much easier to do this pizza thing. I topped mine with caramelized red onions, sliced garlic, mozzarella and grated parmaggiano-reggiano, per recommendation of another friend. I'm completely obsessed with that combo; I may just have that pizza all next week.
But just so I don't get into a rut (albeit a delicious one), any tips on future pizza toppings?
P.S. Where's the Thanksgiving post you ask? Yours truly is working on this day of thanks. Granted, thanks to lowered hours, I'll be heading home after 3 p.m. for a Thanksgiving dinner of presumably pork ribs (get over turkey people!) and other home-cooked Korean food. But it is also due to said lowered hours that I am working holidays. But I requested the lower hours, as There Are Bigger Things To Come. So that's what I'm thankful for -- to work lower hours but still be able to pay rent and work towards bigger things.
