Last week I talked about being in a bad place and I think I've shaken out of it with much help from friends and a restful weekend home. So perhaps it was best that my boss told me today -- in my better state -- that he's cutting my hours considerably.

Anyways, I started this post before my boss told me the news, when I saw this card in Elise's shop. I usually find posters and cards with inspirational sayings and maxims hokey and saccharine sweet, but when I saw it, it really resonated with me. I'm living a pretty full life right now -- imperfect and occasionally shitty as it may be. And even with a soon-to-be eensier paycheck, I'm seeing more possibilities rather than limitations.
